Founded in 1979, the Kraaifontein Sport Shooting Club was primarily a handgun shooting club, with most of its members being IPSC shooters.
Today, the club has 25 shooting bays, which can be used by members of the various shooting disciplines, such as IPSC, SADPA, air rifle shooting and hunting rifle shooting. Although the ranges are designed for practical shooting, there is a 100 m rifle range with benches to sight-in hunting rifles. There is also have a clubhouse with a kiosk, DSTV and braai-facilities.
Kraaifontein shooting club is currently one of the leading shooting ranges in South Africa with more than a thousand members.
KSSC welcomes all visitors to our facilities to promote the shooting sports in a safe and relaxed atmosphere.

After every Saturday competition, our visitors and competitors look forward to the best “Shooting Burger” or “Long Range Boerewors roll” south of the equator.
